Dies and Layers with Velveteen Noel

Happy Friday, crafty friends! Have you fallen in love with all the classic characters like Winnie the Pooh and the Velveteen Rabbit? Today's blog features the new Veleveteen Noel stamp kit, but it's highlighting how to use various dies and patterned paper to a fun layout! Let's get crafting...

I started by stamping and coloring the Velveteen Noel Rabbit using Copic markers and fussy cutting it out. Because this is a vintage image, I pulled out a vintage Christmas paper pack I've had for years! Using mainly scraps, I pulled out the following die sets:

I randomly layered the patterned papers and used foam tape to create some dimension. One of the sheets had little Santa circles so I used a 1" punch to cut out the Santa and used clear embossing powder to make it look like an old button.

I really had fun playing with all these fun shapes to create this background. And you can use this layout with any patterned paper pack to create a fun and dimensional card!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you've found some inspiration... until next time...

Happy Crafting!
