Frosted Lace Snowflake Card – Off-the-Edge Winter Magic

Winter crafting is officially here, and I am SO excited to share this elegant snowflake card featuring the brand-new Frosted Lace stamp by Unity Stamp Company! ❄️ This design is the perfect blend of bold and delicate – and the best part? The snowflake actually hangs off the edge of the card for extra dimension, but still folds perfectly to fit into a standard A2 envelope. (Because who wants to pay extra postage for their happy mail?)

For this project, I wanted the snowflake to take center stage. I stamped Frosted Lace in crisp black ink and added a soft ink-blended background using Distress Ink in Iced Spruce to give it that chilly winter glow. Then, I fussy-cut around the edges of the snowflake so it would hang slightly off the right side of the card panel – adding such a fun, unexpected touch!
To really make the design pop, I accented the snowflake with dimensional black enamel dots, giving it that beaded, frosted look. Finally, I added a small sentiment, “Let it Snow,” on a stitched label die cut for the perfect finishing touch.

Tips for Success
Trim Carefully: When cutting around the snowflake, leave a slight white border so the edges stay crisp and clean.
Test Your Envelope Fit: Before adhering the panel to the card base, check that it folds neatly and slides into your envelope.
Add Sparkle: For an extra wintry touch, try adding shimmer spray or a glitter pen to the snowflake lines.
