Hello Pup

I couldn’t resist pairing the new Look Up Pup stamp set with the classic Over the Rainbow stencil, and honestly… they were made for each other. That sweet pup looking up at the butterfly already tells a story, so adding a bright, cheerful rainbow behind him just brings all the happy vibes together.

For the background, I blended bold rainbow colors using the stencil, keeping the transitions soft so everything flows smoothly from one color to the next. It creates the perfect playful scene without taking attention away from our little pup. I colored him in warm browns with soft shading to keep things cozy and natural—just enough detail to make him pop against that bright backdrop.

The card came together with a stitched/scalloped rectangle frame for a polished look, and I layered the “hello friend” sentiment to add a bit of contrast and sparkle. The black “hello” grounds the design while the script “friend” adds that fun, shiny touch. And of course, a couple of tiny butterflies to tie everything together and keep the eye moving around the card.
