Let's Clown Around

Happy Friday! It's Julissa of Paper Gems By Jules back on the blog looking to clown around with the new Clowning Around Gnome Stamp kit! This cutie is so perfect for lots of birthday fun and even a "pick-me-up" kind of card. Today, I'm sharing how to create this fun interactive card that will have you spinning with joy!

Supplies used:

  • Pastel Party Parade Paper Pack

  • Scallops & Rectangles Nesting Dies

  • Scallops & Circles Nesting Dies

  • .25" Foam Tape

  • .125" Foam Tape

  • One Brad

  • Copic Markers: BG13, BG15, BG32, RV17, RV19, RV55, Y02, Y04, Y06, E31, E34, C2, C0

Step 1. Die cut all your pieces for the card.

  • large scalloped rectangle

  • large stitched nesting rectangle

  • second largest scalloped circle

  • second largest stitched circle or make a circle using a die to fit on the inside

  • banner

Step 2. Stamp your images and sentiment. I fussy cut the clown gnome.

Step 3. Adhere the circle with the balls onto the scalloped circle.

Step 4. Punch hole in the. center of the circle and use a pencil to mark where to push it through the stitched rectangle into position. Push the brad through all of it, but make sure that the circle can still spin.

Step 5. Adhere the stitched rectangle to the scalloped rectangle using foam tape.

Step 6. Add sentiment to lower section.

Step 7. Adhere the gnome only on the bottom and use a glue dot to adhere top of gnome to brad to cover it.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you had just as much fun with me making this card. Make sure to check out all of the amazing deals during this birthday celebration! If you do make something, make sure to post in on our Unity {show & tell} Facebook page to inspire others!

Until next time... Happy Crafting!
