Oh Baby!

Happy Friday, crafty friends! Today I'm celebrating some beautiful friends that are about to have babies! On sale now, the Sending Up Something Beautiful stamp set is perfect for all those baby cards as well as some really thoughtful cards. This Saturday, I'm attending a baby sprinkle for a baby girl on the way AND on Sunday, a dear friend is expecting her first baby who is expected to be a boy! So this stamp set was perfect to make some sweet cards!

Let's do ladies first! For this first card, I started with Bubblegum Luxury Card Stock. This amazing card stock is great for card bases and so much more so make sure you check it out! I used part of it for a card base, and the other part for the background and die cut the background layer using the Scallops and Stitched Rectangles Nesting dies (a must have).

Using white Copic friendly card stock, I stamped the hot air balloon and clouds from the Sending Up Something Beautiful stamp set and fussy cut them all out. But you can also save your hands by getting the coordinating digital cut files! Yep, check out the Sending Up Something Beautiful Digital Cut Files when you're shopping! After using the Unity Scallop rectangle die on the cloud die cut, I also stamped the sentiment and adhered that layer on the pink die cut layer. Add the balloon, clouds with foam tape and some sequins, and this card is ready to welcome a beautiful baby girl.

Let's hear it for the boys! I have dear friends that will be welcoming their first baby boy and we are so excited for them. This was made just for their baby. Again, using the "must have" Scallops and Stitched Rectangle dies I die cut a couple of layers using some Copic friendly white card stock. Using Salvage Patina, I stamped the Clouded by Cuteness Background stamp! I inked the edges to soften them up with the same color.

And the same as the last card, I stamped the clouds and hot air balloon, colored them using Copic and fussy cut them out. I stamped the sentiment and added the images with foam tape. I layered all of these on the a card base made from the Berrylicious Luxury Card Stock and added a couple of sequins.
