Puppy Love

Hey crafty friends! I'm here today with an easy way to use the new Dog Silhouette series into a "picture perfect" card! I used a few other dog themed stamp kits to create these super simple cards. Let's get inky!

I started the new "All the Bull Silhouette" stamp kit. This stamp can be so many different dogs and it reminded me of my beloved pretty girl, Sandy Bear, who was a Rottweiler. This bold image looks sweet on pink card stock. To add a little shading, I used Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink to create a shaded background for this pup.

I tucked her in under a polaroid die and stamped the sentiment from the "Love is a Four-Legged Word" stamp kit. {Crafting Tip: When embossing with white embossing powder, use a white pigment ink to get an even bolder, brighter white.}

Using the same pink card stock, I stamped "Muddy Paws Background" stamp using VersaFine Clair to create a fun background that. compliments the other dog themed elements in this card.

For this card, I used all the same elements, but switched the main image to use the "Labby Silhouette" stamp kit. Another sweet image that can cover lots of breeds.

On both cards, I added a puffy heart onto their chest because they are nothing but love.

These cards will be donated to a local animal rescue to send new adopters! What a great way to spread some puppy love. Now if only we could get some cat silhouettes... stay tuned!

Thanks so much for following along. I hope you found some inspiration. This blog is dedicated to all the dogs out there and those over the rainbow bridge.

Until next time... Happy Crafting!
