It Ain't Easy Being Purrfect!

Hey there all you cool cats and kittens!  It's Jules on the blog today sharing this cool cat with this funky background using the new "Feline So Good" stamp set and the "Comic Book Circle" stencil set.

To start, I stamped this fancy kitty and his lime scarf on the lower righthand corner.  I colored him in with T9, T7, T5, T3 & T1.  I colored the scarf sing YG03, YG23 & YG00.  Next, I created a mask for kitty and moved onto the background.

Once the cat is masked, I started by using the largest plain circle in the stencil set with Crushed Olive Distress ink.  Next, I switched to the psychedelic circle of the other part of the stencil set and applied Ranger Stickles Glitter Gel in Nebula.  I love how this fits perfectly.  I then splattered gold Perfect Pearls with water before removing the mask.  I found a mini shape covered in Yellow alcohol ink by Brea Reese and it matched perfectly.

Now that the Stickles is dry, time to add all the layers.  I adhered a lime green vellum onto a white card base.  I clued the stamped cat piece onto a black piece of card stock slightly larger.  I then added the star and the sentiment using some foam tape.

This card has lots of layers and depth just like this mysteriously cool looking cat.  I hope you've found some inspiration in this post today and I'd love to see how you mix in some cool products with your next Sassy & Crafty stamped card.

Until next time...

have a Sassy & Crafty day!

Jules
