Say hello to one of the latest Sassy Girls who's ready to sink her teeth into your next card! Hi everyone!! It's Julissa here for another fun blog post featuring another amazing release by Sassy & Crafty stamps... Sassy Girls - Spooky.
For this card, I started by stamping her twice. I colored one face and hair first. I opted to give her a blue/black hair color and bold, sultry blood red lips. I fussy cut just the head so that I could add it to the other one and give it a 3D effect. Next, I colored the second image, but only coloring in the outside of the hair and the body and die cut the image. I thought there was too much white space around her, so I did some grey splatter behind her. I used thin foam squares to adhere her head.
Rather than putting this on a plain card base, I used the Donut Sprinkle stencil and dark red and black in to give the the feel of dripping blood. Don't you love when a stencil can do so much!
The sentiment was die cut using a stitched speech bubble and added on with a little foam tape. For some final touches, I added clear Nuvo drops to her lips to give them a glossy look.
