Happy Friday, crafty friends! This is Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today with something old and something new: I pulled out an old August 2020 Uniquely Unity: It's Your Choice stamp set for the beautiful floral image. I paired it with the new Vintage Script Embossing Folder to create a beautiful vintage card with metallic details. Join me for all the details.
The new Vintage Script Embossing Folder is beautiful. and full of detail. I embossed a die cut piece of black card stock. Once embossed, I used a metallic rub in a copper color to give it a distressed metallic look. From here, I used warm greys and beige to pair with this vintage background.
I used a lot of little bits to create all of these layers. I die cut the a tag from the Newsprint Greetings paper pack from the February 2023 Whit Kit. I die cut a sentiment from the sentiment strips from that same Whit Kit. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the floral from the August 2020 Uniquely Unity: It's Your Choice stamp set. I also die cut an old frame and used Distress Ink and more of the metallic rub to give it a vintage vibe. I also used an piece of printed linen that I purchase years ago at a craft show. And last, I used copper metallic string to combine that metallic look.
