Ahoy Maties! ⚓️ The fun continues with another share of the new June release! Wait until you get your hands on this treasure of a stamp set by Sassy & Crafty Stamps called "Ahoy Matey." So many cute little characters to play with. However, there is still a great opportunity to make a simple masculine card with this adorable set.
The anchor image can be used as a great image for an upcoming Father's Day card. I stamped the anchor ⚓️ with the perfectly matched sentiment "You are my Anchor." Although I did find a great patterned paper to add to this card, I felt like it needed a little more. I used the new stripes stencil by Sassy & Crafty Stamps and added white pigment ink to the navy card stock, giving it some sailor stripes.
I colored the anchor using Copic colors W5, W3 & W1 and the rope with Copic colors E25 & E23. For added dimension, I used some thick jute rope to circle the oval and covered the seam with a bow. You can also tie a knot for a more masculine look too.
Once you get your hands on this stamp set and stencil, you'll want to anchor ⚓️ yourself in your craft room and dive into some fun crafty time!
Don't forget:
