You Are Not Alone

If you didn't snatch up the Halloween Scene stencil... you need to get it.  There are just so many awesome ways to use it.  And today, I'm combining it with the Storms Do Not Last Sentiment stamp set.

This super simple card gives you a spooky vibe while bringing comfort... if that's possible. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I used the following Distress Inks:  Black Soot, Seedless Preserve, Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss (in that order) for the background.  I didn't mask a moon, so I ended up die cutting the moon for the sentiment.

Once the background was colored, I brought out the Halloween Scene stencil and colored the front row with Black Soot Distress Ink and made sure it was super dark. In order to make the other tombstones look like they're in the background, I moved the stencil, and used a lighter hand when coloring them with the same ink.  I did the same technique for the bats. I thought this sentiment was funny with the hand popping out of the ground.  Probably not how it was intended, but it fits the season.

This September release has sooooo many awesome stamps and stencils to haunt you! Definitely let us know which is your favorite.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a Sassy & Crafty Day!
