Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to share my very first YouTube video. Now, please note... this is my first time at this and it's not perfect, but I'm super excited to finally give it a try and I hope you can find some inspiration. This video is sharing how to use Distress inks as watercolors and using a solid stamp with multiple colors. Oh... and stay turned because there's couple of birthday giveaways at the end of the this blog post!
I had recently posted a photo of a card using another Unity Stamp Co. stamp set called "...thankful and grateful fall" and using the same technique with Distress Inks. I figured this would be a great way to share the technique, but with more of a spring feel using this August 2017 Kit of the Month by Unity Stamp Co. called "Never Be Afraid."

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this technique and my video! And feel free to let me know what you'd like to see more of!
Okay... now for the GIVEAWAYS! In 1998, I had my baby boy, Jacob on April 21st. He was a big surprise... and I mean big like 8 lbs. 10 oz. big! Now, he's 6'1" and 22 years old, but will always be my baby. Since we are still in quarantine, I thought the best way to celebrate his birthday is to cook his favorite meal and make him a fun cake. But... why not celebrate him with all of you! I'll have a fun prize for one lucky follower in honor of my baby boy's birthday!
And... only a few days after my son's birthday was my birthday on the 27th. Well... I'm quarantined too... so I'd like to send one of you a gift from me too! Yep! That's right... TWO prizes on one blog post. So here's how to enter:
