Create Wedding Cards Like a Pro

There is something so timeless about a love story captured from behind — two people stepping forward together into their forever. When I first stamped this sweet bride and groom image, I instantly knew I wanted the focus to be soft, romantic, and full of heart.

The Inspiration Behind the Card

The sentiment, “Two hearts. One beautiful life.” set the tone immediately. I wanted the imagery to feel intimate but not overly busy. By placing a softly blended red heart behind the couple, it creates a focal point that draws your eye directly to them — symbolizing love surrounding their journey.

The black scalloped frame grounds the design and adds just enough contrast to make the soft neutrals and reds pop beautifully. I love how the tiny red florals at their feet echo the bold heart behind them, tying everything together seamlessly.

Technique Spotlight: Ink Blended Heart Background

• Stamp and color the couple using alcohol markers for soft dimension

• Ink blend the heart to create a rich, even background glow

The key technique here is controlled ink blending. Using a rich red ink and gradually building color intensity creates that smooth, romantic backdrop that feels polished and professional.
