Happy Friday! This is Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules and if you're in a quick pinch for a Valentine's Day card for your guy, girl, kids or just someone you love, this is a great option! Today, I'm sharing the fun set "Tiled Letters" created by Nick Magnuson, himself!
I wanted to mirror the fun game of Scrabble, so I pulled the colors from the board. I used a red, pink, blue and light blue ink from Rubbernecker Stamps to stamp the smallest whole piece of the stamp set. (Side note: These inks are my new go to for stamping!) I also used the blank outline to be around each stamped color block.
For the letters, I stamped the letters on wood paper giving them more of the real tiles from the game. For these, I cut them right up agains the line for the tiles so that they look more authentic. If you really wanted to make them look real stack the blocks to give them dimension. For this card, I just used foam squares behind the letters.
The great thing about this set is that you can spell out anything and letters are unlimited. I hope you enjoyed this quick Valentine idea and hopefully inspire some fun cards! Thanks so much for stopping by and consider picking up this versatile stamp set. And, it also has a corresponding SVG cut file so you don't have to fussy cut like I did.
Until next time... Happy Crafting!
Jules
