Pawsitively Perfect for All Occasions!

Happy Friday! Let's celebrate all occassions with the new "Pawsitively Wrapped Up" stamp set by Unity Stamp Company! This adorable new pup is making a mess, but those puppy dog eyes makes it all okay! This new stamp is perfect for those that celebrate "Christmas in July" or a sweet birthday card. So let's try them both!

For this birthday card, I used the "Yay, It's Today!" paper pack to inspire some of the colors. Using the teal, orange and yellow, I colored all the fun stuff and used warm greys to color in the pup. {Copics: W6, W4, W2, BG75, BG72, YR27, YR23, Y15, Y06} Once done coloring, I fussy cut him out, but if you own a digital cutter, like a Cricut or Silhouette, you can get the coordinating digi-cut for this image.

Now, let's get some die cutting done! I started by die cutting the background using the "Yay, It's Today" patterned paper with the largest Scalloped Rectangle die. Next, I found some scraps of teal and yellow and die cut Scallop & Stitched Circles and the Happy Birthday dies. {I die cut several bases of the birthday to stack them for depth rather than using foam tape.}

Once it's all put together, I added a little sparkle with iridescent sequins for a blingy birthday touch! The great part of this image is you can change the colors of the pup, the gift wrapping and ribbon to match any patterned paper. Now, lets get into Christmas in July.

For this holiday card, I stamped this cute pup on ivory card stock and die cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle die. Next, I used Copic markers to color in the image.

Next, I used some various holiday washi tapes on the bottom and top of the card front. Then I stamped two of the sentiments from this stamp kit and die cut them using Scallop & Stitched Sentiment dies and aged the edges with Forrest Moss Distress ink. Using thin foam tape, I adhered them over the washi tape.

I layered this over some holly and berries patterned paper and placed on an ivory card base. So easy and so cute... and so versatile! This new stamp is just perfect for many occasions.
