Peek-a-Pooch Christmas Fun

Who says Christmas cards have to stick to traditional red and green? Sometimes it's fun to step outside the usual holiday palette and let your patterned paper do the talking! For this card, I paired the adorable Peek-a-Pooch Stamp Set with the bright and playful Bright & Burrr Paper Pack. The combination of those colorful plaid patterns, snowy details, and these two curious pups makes for a fun holiday card that's full of personality!

I started with the vibrant plaid patterned paper as my background and layered in a large snowflake cut using the Huge Snowflake Die. I love how the turquoise adds another pop of color while bringing in that wintery feel. The pups were stamped, colored with my Copic markers, and showcased on a bright lime green banner. I added a few layered banner elements and a little heart for an extra touch of fun. The sentiment finishes everything off perfectly!

One of my favorite things about card making is finding new ways to use the products we already own. Don't be afraid to mix and match your new stamp sets with older dies, stencils, background stamps, and those patterned papers you've been saving in your stash. Try an unexpected color combination, layer different patterns, or pull out a die that you haven't used in a while. You might be surprised by what you create!
