Stamping Through Stencils

Happy Friday! It's Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today. I'm feelin' all the feels with my one year wedding anniversary tomorrow (10.01.21), so today is all about a romantic anniversary card for your loved one or someone you love.

So I had recently posted a technique where I stamped an image within an open-spaced stencil and several crafters asked for a video. Since I struggle to recreate cards, I decided to do something similar, but different. I used this Always and Forever Stencil by Visible Image of a couple for the open space and stamped the beautiful Promise Always stamp set within the stencil to create a little scene within a scene.

Keeping the stencil on the card front, I then ink blend around the image. I then laid the Ray of Light Stencil by My Favorite Things over the image to create look of sun rays. You can also use any other stencils you'd like to add to create more texture on this image.

I felt the shading was still a lot of open space, so I did some random stamping using the Love Story Background stamp in the background. Another small romantic detail. Click to watch the video below to watch as this card blooms with love.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you found some inspiration. Make sure to check back in to the blog to see so many of our inspiring Design Team members share their creativity!

Until next time... Happy Crafting!
