Happy Friday, crafty friends! There’s something so magical about a glowing moonlit sky filled with bats. This card captures that perfect spooky-season vibe with a forest silhouette, a big glowing moon, and eerie bats flying above. Let’s walk through exactly how to make it — step by step — so you can create your own hauntingly beautiful card!

🖌️ Step-by-Step Tutorial
1. Create the Moon Background
Using the Antique Linen and Old Paper Distress Ink, color the Super Moon Stencil layers.
Create a mask by tracing the Super Moon stencil on the Easy Peel Masking Paper.
2. Blend the Night Sky
Keeping the moon masked, blend Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough & Hickory Smoke to create a spooky sky. Us the lightest color around the edges of the moon and mix the grey for the look of clouds.
Lightly blend a bit of Black Soot near the top edges for a moody night effect.
3. Stamp the Trees
Remove the moon mask and stamp your tree line across the bottom of the panel using VersaFine Clair in Obsidian first. Use the grey ink to stamp some of the trees to create dimension.
Or double stamp if needed to get a crisp, deep silhouette.

4. Add the Bats
Use the small Bat Stickers randomly in the sky. (Odd numbers are usually best)

5. Add the Sentiments
Cut apart the sentiments you want from the Just Boo-Cause Sentiment Strips and use thin adhesive strips to adhere.

6. Finishing Touches
Use a white gel pen to add tiny stars (or you can use white paint splatters with the moon mask on and before stamping the trees).
Mat the panel on black cardstock for contrast and adhere to a light green card base.

And there you have it — a mystical forest scene under a hauntingly beautiful full moon! 🛒 Supplies Used
